Chain Cohn Stiles

The Dust Bowl swept across our nation’s farmlands in 1934, forcing many to flee the Great Plains for work in Central California, including in Kern County. At the same time, Morris Chain was looking for work as a lawyer in Bakersfield to no avail – this was during the Great Depression, after all. So, he created his own opportunity and opened his own law firm. Eighty-five years later, his law firm continues fighting for the working man and woman.⁣ ⁣
